A Cape Cod Wedding To Remember in Brewster, MA
Tyler and Ryan celebrated their wedding this summer at the Mansion at Ocean Edge in Brewster, MA. Their Cape Cod LGBTQ wedding took place on one of the most sunny weekend days that we saw this summer. It was a perfect day to celebrate these two handsome grooms as they said ‘I do!’
The grooms got ready together, but then separated for a “first look” before their family photos and pre-ceremony groom photos. For those we headed down to the dock the lead out to the beach and took a few minutes to hide in the shade on the boardwalk on the way back.
The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn of the Mansion at Ocean Edge. The groom’s selected beautiful blue and white hydrangeas as part of their flower arrangements, which is both a nod to one of the most typical flowers found on Cape Cod this time of year, and matched their (matching!) blue suits perfectly! The ceremony was performed by one of their closest friends, and there were many tears shed, including by the grooms themselves, as they read their vows and made their union official.
Before the reception, the grooms headed back inside the Mansion at Ocean Edge to change into matching white tuxedos. We walked all over the beautiful grounds to capture some “just married” portraits together, before we headed down to the tent for their amazing reception. After the parent dances & heartfelt speeches, the dance floor was full for the rest of the night. And, as you can tell from the photos, the two grooms had an incredible time!
