Katherine and Brandon had a really big summer. They moved from California to the East Coast. They bought a house. And they got married at the beautiful Whitney Farm Estate in Oxford, Maine. Early in the day there were clouds threatening rain, but they cleared by mid morning and they had the most beautiful September day for their wedding. I was so grateful that Katherine and Brandon reached out to me to be their wedding photographer after I had photographed the wedding of Katherine’s cousin a few years ago. Even though I am a wedding photographer based in Westerly, Rhode Island and Stonington, CT, I was happy to make the trip to Oxford, Maine for their wedding. One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting the chance to visit new places!

The Whitney Farm Estate has a beautiful ceremony space where guests sit on split logs surrounded by greenery. Katherine and Brandon were married in underneath a white birch arch with both their parents and siblings standing beside them on either side. Their wedding concluded with an awesome party in the barn where they danced the hora, listened to heartfelt speeches and danced the night away!
