We could not have picked a more perfect afternoon for Jill and Matt’s engagement photography session. As a RI engagement photographer, I’m used to being at the mercy of the weather. Down here you never know exactly what you’re going to get. But for this particular occasion, the golden sun gods came through in full force. We were blessed with some of the most dreamy light that I have ever experienced in Narragansett. (Check out some of my favorite Narragansett beaches HERE.).

When it comes to engagement sessions, I absolutely love adventurous couples. And Jill and Matt totally fit the bill! (Feel free to check out one of my other favorite adventurous couples HERE). They were willing to try anything and it allowed us to capture some really unique and fun images. Thank you Jill and Matt for trusting me and allowing us to create these incredible photos!

For their session, we started down on the fishing docks. I wanted to explore shapes and colors in a spot that not many people visit for this purpose. One of my favorite engagement photos from this session is a reflection of Jill and Matt that we created using a puddle and some awesome yellow parking lot lines. It was totally random and I couldn’t have planned for it before if I had tried to. Which is one of the things I love most about being a RI engagement photographer. You never know what creative inspirations you will find where you least expect them!
